When I first applied last year for an internship as a Business Development Representative at CondoWorks, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. As a psychology student, I was eager to gain real-world experience in communication, and CondoWorks seemed like the perfect fit.
At first, I was not interested in returning for my second term since my passions lie outside of sales. However, fast forward to the end of my first work term, and I can confidently say that CondoWorks exceeded all of my expectations. From the challenging work assignments to the supportive team environment, I knew that I had found a company that aligned with my goals and values.
When it came time to consider my options for a second internship term (or as we say in Canada, a cooperative education or “co-op” term), there was no question in my mind that I wanted to return to CondoWorks.

The people
The people at CondoWorks are what make it truly special. From the supportive team environment to my experienced mentor, Katherine, I felt like I was part of a community that cared about my personal growth and development.
I knew that returning to CondoWorks would give me the opportunity to continue building relationships and learning from some true innovators in the industry. The people I worked with during my first work term were not only knowledgeable and skilled, but they were also fun to work with.
They took the time to teach me new skills and challenged me to grow as a professional. I felt like I was part of a supportive community where my contributions were valued.
The work
The work I did during my first work term was challenging and rewarding. As an introvert, sales definitely pushed me outside of my comfort zone. I was given opportunities to take on projects and meaningfully contribute to the company's success.
Returning to CondoWorks would allow me to continue to build my skills, my confidence and take on even more challenging work.
